Most commonly called "Pothos". The native range of Epipremnum aureum is Society Islands (Moorea). It is an epiphytic climber and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.
These plants are remarkably versatile and can handle a wide range of conditions. Their growth pattern can change depending on the conditions they are put into. If they are in part sun and given a pole to root into, the leaves grow rapidly in size and can develop fenestrations. In most homes they are used as a hanging or trailing plant in moderately lit areas, where they grow smaller leaves and thinner stems.
The 'Marble Queen' variety is a delicate looking variegated leaf with splotches of creamy white and green.
