The Thanksgiving (commonly referred to as Christmas) cactus (Schlumbergera truncata) is an epiphytic tropical cactus known for its abundant blooms. It typically flowers around Thanksgiving, but often continues blooming for the entire winter. The vivid and vibrant blooms bring a cheerful aura into your home just as the weather outdoors is getting colder.
On average, Thanksgiving cactus grow 6 to 12 inches tall and 1 to 2 feet wide and (if taken care of) live 30 years or more.
Light: They can handle direct sun but prefer very bright, indirect light Water: Water when the soil is completely dry to the bottom of the pot Growing media: Any well draining mix will suffice, ie cactus soil, aroid mix
NOTE - There are different colors of blooms. If you buy online but change your mind on the color of bloom you would like, you're more than welcome to swap it out for a different color of the same plant.
