Possibly the funnest of fun plants. They have typical fern demeanor. It can be tricky to get the hang of fern care but they are incredibly easy once you do. Australian tree ferns are a large fern that grows fronds out of a tree like stump. The fronds are FUZZY and unfurl dramatically.
Bright indirect light is ideal for tree ferns. They enjoy a chunky mix to grow in, like an all purpose mix fortified with bark. Keep the media wet. They will not rot unless there is not adequate chunk (aeration) in the soil. Like most ferns they love a lil’ food every now and then.
