2" String of Hearts

Ceropegia woodii is a vining plant native to semi-arid parts of the eastern southern hemisphere. They are not a succulent and don't store excessive amounts of water in their leaves. Their nodes swell when in contact with the soil and form tubers. They require well draining soil and should never be let to stand in water. Bright light and even direct sun for much of the day will help your string of hearts maintain low internodal space and desired appearance. The flowers are bizarre.
